When I made the switch to Ms. Kathryn as a voice teacher, my voice grew exponentially. I finally started working on fresh material and improving my technique in a big way. Plus- she’s just the kindest and most wonderful person to collaborate with! -Campbell E.
I had the privilege of working with Kathryn during my senior year of high school. She was such a light and helped me truly understand my voice. As a recent college graduate with a B.A. in Music, I can confidently say that she set me up for success to pursue music at the next level. I am so grateful to know her! -Shelby M.
Kathryn is an accompanist’s dream. She is always prepared with the perfect musical selections to meet any genre. I have had the honor of accompanying her for classical, sacred and holiday concerts, as well as playing for her studio of students. She is simply the best! -Kim M.
Kathryn was my vocal teacher from middle school through high school, and she taught me to sing properly and take care of my voice as it changed over the years. I learned so much from her and I would not be the singer I am today without her constantly pushing me to do and be my best. She helped prepare me for college and beyond. Even more, her lessons led me to curating a vast repertoire of songs that I still sing and use to book gigs to this day!
Not only is Kathryn a great teacher, but she is a wonderful person who will make sure you will go into the music world prepared for just about anything they throw at you. - Shelby W.
Kathryn gave our daughter voice lessons for several years while she was in middle and high school. Thanks in no small part to Kathryn’s wonderful instruction, Rose was able to participate in the Madrigals at her high school, Governor’s School at MTSU, and in choirs at multiple churches. Voice lessons helped her confidence and poise, and gave her an outlet for her to shine. Rose is still singing now, as a young adult! - Grace L.
Kathryn is a great vocal teacher and coach - she is so encouraging and inspires her students to get better with each lesson. Her patience and kindness guide her instruction for each student.
She is the best! -Sarah V.
I first connected with Kathryn through a local community theatre in Maryville, TN. Since then, Kathryn and I have had the privilege of working on several projects together, with our latest being Cherry Cola, a short film about finding healing from childhood trauma and abuse.
Kathryn is one of my favorite people I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with over the years. From the stage to the big screen, there are several things that stand out to me about her.
First, Cherry Cola was my first opportunity to work with Kathryn on a film set. She was part of one of the film’s most emotionally demanding scenes, playing the role of a mother navigating the challenges of raising children in an unsafe environment. Not only did Kathryn completely make the character her own, she also brought such a warm, genuine energy to everyone on set. Above all else, she made the kids feel comfortable, helped them have fun throughout the day, and created an atmosphere where everyone felt like family. Her presence elevated not only her own performance but also those of everyone around her. Working with her was an absolute joy.
Another thing I love about Kathryn is that whenever she commits to something, she gives it everything she has. She pours herself into her work because she genuinely cares about the people she’s representing and the stories she’s helping tell. Throughout the production of Cherry Cola, Kathryn’s presence elevated the value of the film and enhanced the story we were telling. She brought more depth to her character than I could have ever hoped for, and became a powerful voice for those who have experienced abuse. She understood the importance of portraying difficult subjects with authenticity and compassion.
Kathryn shines wherever she is- whether she’s on stage, in front of the camera, or simply making the people around her feel loved, welcomed, and included. I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with her, and I hope we get to create many more stories together. - Andrew Dennis, Dennis Film Productions
