Studio and Recitals

In addition to targeting vocal skills, prepping for auditions, and focusing on vocal health, my voice students work hard all throughout the year to present an annual recital in May. Though they are not required to participate, it is highly encouraged as part of the experience - and, why would you not want to show off what you've learned over the last year?!

Recitals are presented in 2 halves, the first half featuring classical and folk pieces, including Engligh and foreign laungage art songs, multilculutural folk pieces, sacred songs, and spirituals; thr second half features songs from Broadway shows and TV/film scores. It's also fun to have teach/student suets, trios, and whole group songs from time to time - recital do require a good amount of focus and preparation, but it's worth it to feel that growth form year to year!
